Stable Edge - Flexible Aluminium Edge Restraints

Stable Edge aluminium edge restraint systems provide a secure and productive method of establishing perimeters for paving and soft landscape. In all instances the range is designed to be an effective, low maintenance and elegant edging option.

All edgings are 2.438 mtr long and there are three formats, which are as follows:

Stable Edge HD Asphalt Edging: which is a heavy duty "L" shaped restraint for use on bound surfaces, where mechanical compaction of the surface material will be necessary, adjacent to the edge. Typically, the edge restraint is suitable for asphalt, self binding gravel and resin bound surfaces. Standard depths are 25 mm, 38 mm, 50 mm, 64 mm, 75 mm and 100 mm, which should accommodate most installations from restraint of wearing courses to full depth base course and toppings.

Stable Edge LD Paving Restraint: is a lighter duty version of Asphalt Edging, primarily for applications such as natural stone and pre-cast paving or gravel surfaces, where only minimal compaction during installation is necessary. The main difference is in the number of stakes per metre run required to form a secure edge.

In addition to depths available on Asphalt Edging, a paver specific restraint at 4.1 cm deep is offered for standard block paving.

Rite Edge Border Edgings: form a vertical border edging solution for transition from hard to soft landscaping. Used mainly as a lawn edging the units are supplied in two depths. The 10.1 cm depth is available as standard or heavy duty, and in addition to a natural aluminium finish can also be supplied in green, brown and black. The 14 cm depth is produced for heavy duty and available in natural aluminium finish only.
